Bass-Rental agreement

Atlantic Strings, Inc.

Atlantic Strings, Inc. (A.S., Inc.) Rental Plan permits you to (A) Rent as you wish (B) Purchase the instrument at any time (C) Return the instrument whenever you wish with a 180 days minimum rent term for Rent-To-Own program and no minimum for the Flex Rent or Rent to Rent program. In as much as the rental payments may be applied to the purchase of the instrument (on the Rent to Own program only), it is necessary t use the following form in order to conform wit the Federal Truth-In-Lending Act.

This form should be used ONLY if you are 18 years or older, have a valid credit card and would like to rent for a violin, viola, cello or bass. By pressing the SUBMIT button below you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of this rental contract. The term RENTER in this form/contract means the person who is legally eligible to sign the contract and be responsibly for meeting its terms and conditions as outlined below.

If I should, within 90 days from the date hereof, pay in full the balance due hereunder, this shall be considered a cash sale, and I shall receive credit for any payments made against this price. Certain DISCOUNTS may be available.

By completing this contract and clicking on the Submit button I am indicating to A. S. Inc. that I am in agreement with all of the following items:

#1 THAT I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO RETURN THE INSTRUMENT LISTED AT ANY TIME AFTER FULFILLING THE MINIMUM TERM AND THIS AGREEMENT WILL BE CANCELED. No refund of money will be made when the instrument is returned, as all money paid shall be considered rent until full payment is made.

#2 ALL MONEY PAID AS RENT ON RENT TO OWN CONTRACT WILL APPLY TOWARD THE PURCHASE OF THE INSTRUMENT.

#3 I understand that a $10.00 per month late fee will be assessed on all accounts 7 DAYS PAST DUE. After 30 days, a 1.5% per month interest is also added.

#4 If the instrument is returned it must be complete with all items covered by this contract. Missing parts or included accessories not returned with the instrument must be paid for in full at the time of the return, including accessories. Return is the renter's responsibility.

#5 If the instrument(s), the subject of this agreement, is lost or destroyed or for some reason ceases to be under my control, the terms of this agreement shall remain in effect. If for any reason it becomes necessary for A.S. Inc., to seek legal remedy to recover the musical instrument, the property of A.S. Inc., or employ the services of a collection service to recover any past due balances or recover any instrument(s) it is understood and agreed that the I (the renter/purchaser) will have the sole responsibility for payment in full of any costs incurred by A.S. Inc., in pursuit of said recovery.

#6 This instrument may be exchanged for another instrument anytime during this agreement with up to 180 days of principal only applying toward the exchange of the instrument. Exchange can be made for an instrument of similar condition, value, use or an upgrade instrument.

#7 Title to the instrument shall remain with A.S. Inc., until all sums due hereunder are fully paid. I agree not to sell, mortgage, remove from the state (without prior written notice) or otherwise dispose of the instrument until paid in full.

#8 Should I default on any two consecutive monthly payments or fail to answer any correspondence in a timely manner, Atlantic Strings, Inc. may assume that I do not wish to continue the contract and may take possession of the instrument wherever found, at school or elsewhere.
